As the new chair of IAGP’s Organizational Consultancy Section (OCS). I am thrilled to invite you to be part of our community where passion meets purpose and where diverse voices come together to transform organizations. Whether you are an experienced consultant, a group therapist exploring organizational dynamics, or a professional from another field who values the impact of group processes, OCS wants to be a space where you can connect, learn, and grow.
Over the next three years, we are embarking on an exciting journey with four strategic goals at our core: Growing a diverse community, fostering Interdisciplinary Dialogue, Strengthening Consultancy Expertise Supporting IAGP’s Leadership.
OCS’ strategic goals align with IAGP’s strategic pillars, including expanding membership, building international networks, and promoting cultural competency. By 2028, we envision OCS as a vibrant, inclusive community—visible, impactful, and deeply connected within IAGP and beyond. We will bridge theory and practice, fostering healthier, more effective, and sustainable organizations worldwide.

OCS aims to apply group psychology and systemic thinking to organizational challenges, fostering healthier, more effective, and sustainable workplaces. Over 2025–2028, OCS will focus on four key goals:
• Growing a diverse community through webinars, workshops, and regional hubs in Africa, Asia, and Latin America.
• Fostering interdisciplinary dialoque by hosting cross-disciplinary events and peer supervision groups.
• Strengthening consultancy expertise with certification programs, mentorship, and ethical guidelines.
• Supporting IAGP’s leadership by offering consultancy to the Board, EMG, and committees, enhancing governance and collaboration.
OCS aligns with IAGP’s strategic pillars, including expanding membership, building international networks, and promoting cultural competency. Key initiatives include launching a webinar series, developing a “Healthy Organizations” toolkit, and establishing regional hubs. By 2028, OCS aims to be more visible and present withing IAGP, being a vibrant, inclusive community, bridging theory and practice to create impactful organizational change.
This strategy invites all professionals to contribute and shape the future of OCS.
