{"id":8722,"date":"2025-12-06T06:56:59","date_gmt":"2025-12-05T17:56:59","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.iagp.com\/?p=8722"},"modified":"2025-12-12T08:43:00","modified_gmt":"2025-12-11T19:43:00","slug":"sailing-against-all-odds-time-to-care-and-to-repair","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.iagp.com\/ja\/sailing-against-all-odds-time-to-care-and-to-repair\/","title":{"rendered":"\u201cSailing against all odds \u2013 time to care and to repair\u201d"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-8723 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/www.iagp.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/Arca-5.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"332\" height=\"342\" \/><\/span><\/p>\n<h5><a href=\"https:\/\/www.iagp.com\/sailing-against-all-odds-time-to-care-and-to-repair\/\">\u201cSailing against all odds \u2013 time to care and to repair\u201d<\/a><\/h5>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The online international conference took place from the 20th to the 23rd of November with 28 workshops, two lectures, a Social Dreaming Matrix, Large Groups, and an homage to our dear colleagues <\/span><b>Dr Gretel Leutz<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and <\/span><b>Dalmiro Bustos<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, who passed away this year.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Three hundred registered participants from more than 50 countries participated, although their number changed considerably during the ongoing conference. As Hilde G\u00f6tt and Manfred Jannicke wrote: \u201cAfter mass conflicts and collective trauma, societies and all individuals need time and space to heal\u201d \u2013 and so we did.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In the end, all those present agreed that they had contributed to a deep and inspirational process with many insights. Two lectures \u2014 the first joint one by Hilde G\u00f6tt and Manfred Jannicke, and the second by Deniz Altinay \u2014 set the academic highlights. The four days spent together made for a strongly connecting experience based on a truthful \u201cWe.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Thanks to the many different voices, emotions, and colours of our dialogue and its spirit of humanity, we felt the presence of our teachers and the transformation of violence into a bridge towards the future.
