SUMMARY:The Tripartite Matrix in the Developing Theory and Expanding Practice of Group Analysis.

SUMMARY:WEBINAR: Trauma-Informed Care Standards for Treatment\, Education\, and Organizations
DESCRIPTION:Trauma-Informed Care Standards for Treatment\, Education\, and OrganizationsBy Scott Giacomucci from\nThis didactic workshop presents trauma-informed care philosophy as outlined by SAMHSA and its utility in group work\, education\, and organizational leadership. The six trauma-informed principles will be outlined\, and participants will be challenged to critically reflect on their relationships to these principles while exploring ways of further integrating them into their practice. Trauma-informed principles will be approached as both clinical guidelines and ethical values. “Trauma-informed” and “trauma-focused” will be differentiated. The importance of preventing retraumatization will be emphasized while exploring the standards for creating optimal conditions for trauma survivors in treatment\, education\, and organizations. A short experiential process will be facilitated using role playing techniques to help participants practice embodying trauma-informed principles in common clinical\, educational\, and organizational scenarios. \nGiacomucci\, S.
